Behind The Scenes at Taronga Zoo

Updated: Sep 10, 2018

The voices of over 300 children, a hand-painted stingray,6 red back spiders and a splash-making crane lift at 4am...

Finishing touches to the animated lighting in these fellows...

Installing 219 sculptures into a zoo is not for those who are afraid of the dark, or strange noises, or for those who need sleep.... As this precinct expands and evolves each year, so too does the bump-in schedule. Seven semi-trailers to bring in the shark, another four to bring the smaller objects and 10 trailer moves at 30km/ph down the M5.

Another successful collaboration with Taronga Zoo's education department, and outcomes with a difference for the Stage 3 Geography unit studying habitat and species conservation (Taronga 10 Centenary Legacy Species)
